MIDCENTURY

Mid-Century furniture is characterized by its clean lines, gentle curves, and organic shapes. This style originated mid-20th century—hence its name— but thanks to its elegant simplicity and timeless aesthetic, Mid-Century Modern furniture is still highly popular in contemporary interior design.

SCANDINAVIAN

This design is a combination of beauty, simplicity, and functionality. Furniture in this style is clean and simple, giving the entire space a cozy, content feeling described as hygge in Danish. Rooms designed in the Scandinavian style tend to boast white walls to emphasize light, a neutral-heavy palette with pops of color, natural textures such as wood and stone, a lack of window treatments and carpets, and simple, no-fuss layouts that emphasize an elegantly minimalist aesthetic.

MISSION

Mission style, type of furniture popular in the United States during the turn of the 20th century, distinguished by its simplicity of materials and design.  Typically made of oak with a stain finish, with a rectilinear design and exposed carpentry and little or no decoration.

MODERN

Modernist design movement that began in the early 1900s  and was a rebellion against the ornate designs that preceded them. Modernist principles embrace a simple, clean look. Its main principles include: minimalist design; smooth surfaces; clean, straight lines; warm neutral colors; and materials that include both woods and metals

South-West (SO-CAL)

Southwestern style gathers its inspiration from the desert palette, Spanish textiles, adobe houses, ironwork and nature. It uses a lot of original surrounding cultural aesthetic, meaning geometric shapes, bright colors, and natural materials, and can even verge on the side of being vintage.
